E-Commerce in Ukraine
"Business" reports that Ukrainian electronic stores do not enjoy considerable trade turnover; however, it is growing rapidly. Some companies claim that the sales are increasing by 30%-140% every month, in particular during the last several months. The internet store "Bambook" provides the following data: annual turnover is supposed to reach $1,5 million; the settlement recoupment period is 19 months; the number of the regular customers-1600 (80% of the customers are from the regions), the average price per item is $15; and company has over 100 deliverers.
Among the major problems that e-commerce faces in Ukraine is that very few people have the Internet access (about 1% of the population) and even fewer have a bank account or own the credit card (less than 1%)

3. Expensive and not quite worked out delivery
