Subject: The "family" is about to ditch "papa"?

Following are some interesting comments about this article:

The "family" (i.e. the Don's closest "oligarchic" entourage) has decided that he must go in order to save their system. The scenario involves two phases:
(1) the elimination of Yushchenko as Prime Minister (hopefully on April 10 or soon thereafter)
(2) the appointment of Tihipko as Prime Minister and 5 months or so of "activism" on his part to prepare public opinion in his favour.
(3) the resignation of Kuchma sometime in September, followed by Tihipko taking over as acting President and packaging a win at the Presidential election to come.
Tihipko has strong Russian contacts, and Putin's role in this scenario will be important.
