"Ukrainsky Novyny" reports
that on Nov. 8 2000 the Cabinet of Ministers issued a decree on
simplifying the customs' documentation when importing commodities
that require certification in Ukraine. It enables to import all
consignments of one-type commodities with the single certificate
until its expiration. It is presumed that commodities are transported
to one recipient, and name, type, class, trademark of the manufacturer
comply with the information in the certificate.
The decree has also introduced some changes into the Customs Order
of importing commodities that are the subjects to certification
(set up by the Cabinet of Ministers in Nov. 4, 2000). Besides, Cabinet
of Ministers ordered the State Committee on Standartisation and
State Customs Service to augment their legislation in accordance
to the decree.
Reference: Before the decree was issued,
customs certificate was required for every consignment of commodities
that entered the country with different transport documents (blading,
bill of lading).
